It writes plainly, without jargon, and tells you what to fix first. Available in English, Italian, Spanish and French. The plugin follows the language of your WordPress, so there is nothing to set. #### Works right away, with no account These fields live in your own WordPress, so nothing needs to be connected: * SEO title, meta description and focus keyword on every page and post. * ALT texts for your images, from the media library. * Custom canonical URL, noindex and nofollow toggles, editable slug. * Google preview and social preview while you write. * A live check of each page as you type, with the length of every field. * Works WITH your SEO plugin, or on its own lightweight output if you do not use one. #### With a free Trovavio account The score is the one thing WordPress cannot know on its own: it is how your site looks to someone searching for you from the outside. Trovavio reads the page from its own servers, the way Google and ChatGPT do. * SEO + GEO score of your home page, with the points to fix first. * Up to 5 analyses a day, on 1 site. #### From the Solo plan up * AI writes titles, descriptions, keywords and ALT texts for you, and you approve them. * Structured data for AI engines (GEO): FAQ schema, breadcrumb and published/updated dates. * llms.txt generation, to tell AI crawlers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude) what your site is about. * Fixes approved in the dashboard are applied to your site automatically. * 10 pages per analysis with Solo, more with Pro and Agency. A free Trovavio account is available at trovavio.com. ### External Services This plugin can connect your WordPress site to Trovavio, a third-party cloud service( https://trovavio.com), to provide SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) analysis and to apply optimization fixes. The connection is optional. Without a connection key the plugin sends nothing at all: every request is stopped before it leaves your site, and the fields listed above under “Works right away” keep working on your own WordPress data. A connection is needed only for the site score, the AI suggestions and the automatic application of approved fixes. What data is sent to Trovavio (https://trovavio.com/api/plugin): * Your site domain and the connection account name. * For each published page/post: URL, title, meta title, meta description, focus keyword(s), the active SEO plugin name, and a short content snippet (used as context for AI suggestions). * Image URLs, when you request AI-generated ALT text for an image. When data is sent: * When you connect the site (you paste your connection key in the setup wizard). * When you click “Sincronizza” (manual synchronization of your pages). * Every 10 minutes via WP-Cron, to download approved fixes and apply them. * On demand, when you generate an AI suggestion (title, description, keyword, schema, llms.txt or ALT text) from the Trovavio dashboard or the page editor. No data is sent to any other third party. All requests use HTTPS. Paste your connection key from trovavio.com/dashboard ## FAQ ### Do I need a Trovavio account? Yes. The plugin connects WordPress to your Trovavio account and requires a free account at trovavio.com. You can create one directly from the plugin setup wizard(“ Sono nuovo”), or paste an existing connection key (“Ho già un account”). ### Is it free? The plugin and a Free account are free. The WordPress one-click apply feature and the AI generation require a paid plan (Solo or higher). The setup wizard shows the plans. ### What data does the plugin send to Trovavio? Your page URLs, titles, meta titles/descriptions, focus keywords and a short content snippet, plus the site domain and account name. See the “External Services” section above for the full list and links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. ### Does it modify my content or my theme? No. The plugin writes only SEO meta values (title, meta description, focus keyword, schema, llms.txt) through the SEO plugin you already use (Yoast, RankMath, SEOPress and others) or through its own lightweight output. It never edits your post content or your theme files. ### Will it work without WP-Cron? Yes. If WP-Cron is not firing on your host, approved fixes are still applied when you open the Trovavio panel in wp-admin. You can also click “Sincronizza” at any time. ### How do I disconnect? Deactivate the plugin, or remove the connection key from the Trovavio settings page. Before, the editor kept showing the old keywords and it looked like nothing had been saved. * Multiple keywords are shown as a readable list in the history and in the report, instead of the raw [“a”,”b”] text. * After a bulk generation the field no longer says “in the queue, it will be applied within 10 minutes”: the value is already on your site, and now the card says so. * Two labels in the page detail were always in Italian, whatever language you use. They are translated now. * Short pages such as contact, privacy or thank-you pages are no longer marked down for having little text, matching how the report on trovavio.com already treated them. * Better readability of the “description missing” warning in the Google preview when WordPress is in dark mode. #### 1.40.1 * The page checks now use the same thresholds as the audit on trovavio.com, so the score you read in the editor and the score you read in your report say the same thing about the same page. * A page with one or two images missing their alt text is no longer marked as complete: the check tells you how many are missing, and only lowers the score when a large share of them is uncovered. * A page now needs at least three links to your other pages, and at least 300 words, to pass those two checks. #### 1.40.0 * The SEO score now also looks at the body of the page, not just the title and the description. Six new checks, all done on your own site with no AI: images without alt text, links to your other pages, subheadings, a duplicate main heading inside the text, how much text there is, and whether your keyword appears in the opening lines. * Each new check moves the score by a few points at most, so a well kept page stays high and an empty one drops where it belongs. * The new checks work in both editors, the block one and the classic one. #### 1.39.2 * Fixed a problem that stopped some plugin screens from opening on hosting without the mbstring PHP extension. The pages list, the page detail and the changes report now load on every server. #### 1.39.1 * The SEO box in the post editor now works right after installation, with no account: SEO title, description, keyword, canonical URL, the noindex and nofollow switches and the page address are all there from the first minute. Before, that box only said “Connect Trovavio” and showed nothing else, so the canonical URL and the robots switches could not be reached anywhere in the plugin. * The suggestions written by the AI still need a Solo, Pro or Agency plan, and the box now says so in one line instead of hiding everything. #### 1.39.0 * The plugin now also speaks English, Spanish and French, and picks the language on its own from the one your WordPress uses. If your WordPress is in Italian nothing changes: you keep reading everything in Italian, sentence by sentence as before. * Fixed: a suggestion showed stray symbols around the name of a button, and one message was missing an accent. * Some button and field labels now use the same words as the rest of the plugin, instead of alternating between two languages. #### 1.38.6 * Fixed: the Restore button now works on changes to image alternative text too. Before, on a draft in progress, it could suggest a keyword that had nothing to do with the article. * Fixed: if two pieces of content share the same short address, Trovavio no longer guesses which one to write on. Before, it could apply the suggestion to the wrong page. * Fixed: undoing a change to schema, FAQ or llms.txt now confirms the restore only when it really worked. Before, it could confirm even when the content stayed as it was. * Fixed: the “Apply now” button finds pending suggestions even if the site has moved from http to https in the meantime, or a slash in the address has changed. #### 1.38.4 * New: “Make it clearer”. Trovavio reads the text of the page and offers smoother versions of the sentences that are hard to follow, ready to copy. It works only from what you wrote: it does not add facts, cities or numbers that are not there. * Improved: when you ask to improve the title or the description and they are already fine, Trovavio tells you so instead of proposing a pointless change, and it uses no credits. #### 1.38.3 * Fixed: the AI now really reads the content of the page even while it is still a draft. Before, on an unpublished post, titles and descriptions came out generic and the keywords had nothing to do with the article (they were taken from the general topic of the site). * Improved: almost three times as much of the page text reaches the AI, so the suggestions match what you wrote more closely. * Fixed: typing a value by hand and pressing Save now turns the field label to “ OK” instead of leaving it on “Missing”. * Fixed: the social preview recognises the featured image as soon as you set it, with no need to reload the page. #### 1.38.2 * Fixed: choosing “Plain” or “Technical” now really changes the AI explanation when you use “Generate with AI” on an empty field too. They help ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google understand where the page sits and how up to date it is, raising the GEO score with nothing for you to do. The first one is the main one. With RankMath they are all saved; with Yoast and the others the main one is native and the rest stay in the Trovavio field. * Fixed “Page not synchronised”: AI generation no longer failed to find pages that were in fact synchronised, when the permalink differed in harmless details (trailing slash, http/https, www). The match is now tolerant. #### 1.34.19 * Fixed the “Generate with AI” button in the meta box: on hover the background turned pale with white text (invisible). It now stays light blue on hover. #### 1.34.18 * Synchronisation with the dashboard: SEO changes applied directly from the plugin( page editor, meta box, bulk generation) are now reported to Trovavio, so they appear right away in the history and in the dashboard status. Before, only fixes downloaded from the queue were tracked. #### 1.34.17 * GEO: applied fixes (JSON-LD schema, FAQ, meta) now clear the page cache (LiteSpeed, WP Rocket, W3TC, WP Super Cache) so they are immediately visible to Google, to the AI engines and to the Trovavio analysis. Before, on sites with caching, a schema that had just been applied could stay invisible until the cache expired. * GEO: serving /llms.txt made sturdier (the request is intercepted earlier) for the hosts where the rewrite rule alone caused a 301 redirect. #### 1.34.16 * WordPress.org review: inline CSS and JS removed. The admin bar badge style, the notice dismiss script and the styles and scripts of the Report page are now properly enqueued files. The WP-Cron URL is generated with add_query_arg/site_url. Plugin URI points to https://trovavio.com/ wordpress, Author URI to https://trovavio.com. * Added the LICENSE file (the full GPLv2 text) in the plugin folder. #### 1.34.12 * Bulk “Everything” generation: it now REALLY generates every missing field, SEO and GEO (Schema and FAQ). Before, “Everything” covered only title, description and keyword, so on pages with complete SEO it said “no field to generate” even when the GEO was missing. * Page list: pages not yet included in an analysis show “Not analysed yet” instead of staying empty, so it is clear why only some of them have a score (the analysis examines the main pages up to the limit of your plan, not all of them). #### 1.34.11 * “Connection status and diagnostics” now has an arrow showing that it opens: before it looked like an empty heading (it was a closed panel with no visible arrow). * GEO: after applying Schema or FAQ from the page detail, the status updates right away (badge and buttons). Before it stayed on “missing” until you reloaded. * Page list: a new “GEO to complete” filter showing the pages that are missing Schema or FAQ (before, “To improve” counted only title, description and keyword). * After a bulk generation, a reminder to press “Update analysis” and recalculate the score (the applied fixes change the site, but the score only updates after a new analysis). #### 1.34.10 * Logo in the WordPress admin bar: before, the 16px navy square disappeared against the dark background of the bar. The required-field asterisk is now consistent in dark mode. #### 1.34.6 * llms.txt: after generating, the badge turns to “Configured” (it stayed on “Missing” before) and the preview of long text no longer spills out of the card. * Bulk generation: it now shows the VALUE generated for each field (with an “In the queue, the plugin will apply it” status), not just a badge. * GEO per page: every page shows the status of Schema and FAQ right in the list, with a bulk “GEO (Schema + FAQ)” button and a “Manage GEO” link to the detail. * “Quick actions” card: more space between the credit bar and the buttons. #### 1.34.5 * Overview: every card now has the same background. Finishing touches: a maximum height on the notes field of the page detail, a visible scrollbar in dark mode, proposal buttons that wrap on mobile, compact image cards on narrow screens. #### 1.33.1 * Small visual fixes in the Overview: in the “Recent history” card the change-type label (FAQ schema, Focus keyword…) now fits the text instead of stretching across the whole column; the “See the site pages” button is no longer underlined. #### 1.33.0 * New welcome page (onboarding): it explains what Trovavio does, shows the plans and lets you start in two ways. “I am new”: you create the Trovavio account straight from the plugin (name, email, password) and the site is connected automatically.“ I already have an account”: you paste the API key and connect the site right away. The design matches the Trovavio brand (the colours and fonts of the plugin), with no external fonts. Registration goes through a dedicated endpoint with anti- abuse protection. #### 1.32.1 * Overview: the Score card now sits in two columns (Score on the left, History and Actions on the right) instead of taking the full width, so the SEO/GEO rows and the small chart are no longer stretched with too much empty space. History bars grouped and at a fixed width. #### 1.32.0 * New “SEO + GEO score” card in the Overview: a progress circle coloured by band( green/orange/red), SEO and GEO rows with an icon, a subtitle (Google / AI engines) and the change since the previous analysis (+5, stable, and so on), a small chart with the trend of the latest analyses, and an “Update analysis” button to read the data from Trovavio right away. A green status bar at the top when the site is connected. The history and the changes use the real data recorded by Trovavio at every analysis. #### 1.31.3 * A clearer, more readable Overview: a low GEO score now has a red background ( no longer light blue) and the overall score circle takes its colour from the score (green/orange/red) and is larger. The “next step” box is a real call to action (a light blue box with text on the left and a button on the right), no longer a thin strip that looked like an error. The four numbers at the top are larger and inside cards; a zero in the fixes queue is grey instead of blue. “ Connection status and diagnostics” moved to the bottom of the page, so what is useful stays at the top. #### 1.31.2 * A tidier page list: every page is now a real card with a border, rounded corners and a light shadow under the mouse pointer (they used to be flat rows separated only by a line). The page score shows two distinct chips, SEO and GEO, instead of the overall score alone. Long titles and URLs are shortened with an ellipsis. Social preview in the meta box: a smaller image (110px maximum). Field error state: the Retry and Cancel buttons are now small instead of full width, and the buttons inside the page cards stay compact on mobile too. #### 1.31.1 * Dark theme consistency: the secondary buttons, the keyword pills and the compact admin controls now use the theme variables (background, text, border) instead of a fixed white, so they follow the dark mode of the system correctly. The Google preview (SERP) boxes stay white on purpose, to match the real result. #### 1.31.0 * If you delete Yoast (or another SEO plugin) but its data stays in the database, Trovavio now still outputs title, meta description and Open Graph on the front end by reading that leftover data (before, the site silently lost all its SEO meta). The interface shows “Trovavio” when the SEO plugin is not really active. On the Trovavio dashboard side: the chat with the consultant, when the site has the plugin connected, offers titles, descriptions and keywords with a “Publish to the site” button to queue them right away.
