Scan results are advisory: \u201cNo supported references found\u201d does not prove that a file is unused.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Scanner<\/h4>\n\n<p>Inspect one media item at a time with a professional WordPress-native workflow. Supported checks include:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Post, page, custom post type, synced\/reusable block, and other post content or excerpts containing the primary URL, generated image-size URLs, or the WordPress <code>wp-image-ID<\/code> class.<\/li>\n<li>Core Image, Gallery, Cover, Media &amp; Text, File, Audio, and Video blocks that store attachment IDs.<\/li>\n<li>Featured images stored in <code>_thumbnail_id<\/code> metadata.<\/li>\n<li>Navigation menu custom URLs.<\/li>\n<li>WordPress Site Icon and Site Logo.<\/li>\n<li>Active theme Custom Logo, Header Image, and Background Image settings.<\/li>\n<li>Core media widgets and block widgets.<\/li>\n<li>WooCommerce product gallery and product-category thumbnail attachment IDs.<\/li>\n<li>Elementor saved media-control references when the saved JSON confirms the attachment ID.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>Bulk Scan<\/h4>\n\n<p>Bulk Scan processes media items one at a time through bounded AJAX requests. It supports media type, upload-age, search, and maximum-item filters, live progress, result filtering, and CSV export.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Diagnostics<\/h4>\n\n<p>The Diagnostics tab shows the exact plugin basename and WordPress core <code>update_plugins<\/code> cache entry that control Dashboard update notices.
